Lane Kiffin is bringing an Alabama star to Ole Miss.

Fresh off being hired by the Rebels to pump some life back into their program, Kiffin went out and recruited former Alabama tight end Michael Nysewander to serve as an analyst.

Nysewander previously worked as a running backs coach for the Samford Bulldogs in 2019.

Prior to this, Kiffin and Nysewander worked together when the latter served as the former’s assistant at FAU in 2018.

Kiffin won the Ole Miss coaching job following a very solid three-year stint with Florida Atlantic. He ultimately ended up going 26-13 and winning two Conference USA championships.

This coming year will mark the first time in 11 years that Kiffin will be coaching in the SEC.

Ole Miss has won six games our fewer in each of the last four years.

Will Kiffin be able to turn that record around? Time will tell.
