Lamar Odom Gets Brutally Honest About Kardashian Curse

Former NBA player Lamar Odom is known for many things. He was one of the most versatile players of his generation. He was a beloved teammate.

And he was famously married to Khloe Kardashian.

It was that latter bit that really catapulted Odom into the public eye, and although his relationship with Kardashian didn’t last, the memory of it has lived on.

This week, Odom sat down with VladTV and discussed the string of bad luck that has befallen many Kardashian beaus. It has become so common, in fact, that it has its own name – the Kardashian Curse.

“That’s stupidity,” Odom said.

“Because everybody goes through s—, you dumba–es. If I had your family on tape, and see all the s— your family was going through, people would be like ‘this f—ing family is crazy!’

“People would see all the drug addicts, all the sex, they share their life with you, so you see everything. Maybe it’s overexposed. But people love it! The people that made them are the people that point the finger. It’s kind of like sickening a little bit. And I lived it from the inside and the outside.”

Odom then elaborated further.

“It’s still hard for me to figure out the love/hate people have for them,” he continued.

“I’m just lucky enough to have some of that star dust fall off on me at some point in my life.”

Odom has been in the news for some interesting things over the past few years. First it was his highly salacious relationship drama. Then it was for agreeing to a celebrity boxing match.

As such, nothing he does should come as much of a surprise anymore.

That said – for those who watched him be an integral member of two championship Los Angeles Lakers teams, he’ll always just be the guy without whom the 2010s dynasty wouldn’t have been possible.
