Kyle Shanahan’s One Final Message For 49ers

Kyle Shanahan’s one final message for the 49ers ahead of the Super Bowl has been revealed.

Heading into Sunday, San Francisco is set to take on the Kansas City Chiefs for the ultimate prize.

After a long road that saw the Niners face off against and defeat the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Divisional Round and the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game, it all comes down to this.

The Chiefs faced a similar set of competitors. Following a first round bye, Kansas City took on and beat the Houston Texans in the AFC Divisional Round and the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Championship Game.

Ahead of Super Bowl LIV, Shanahan shared a simple but powerful message with his team.

That message?

“Be the same man that you’ve been all season.”

All year long the Niners have played with dedication and intensity. That is a big reason why the team had arguably the league’s best defense all season long.

San Francisco will need that and more when they take on Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs today.

Will the Niners ultimately be able to bring a Super Bowl title to the Bay for the first time in more than two decades?

We’ll find out once and for all this afternoon.
