Kyle Larson Responds to Racial Slur Controversy
Kyle Larson responded to the racial slur controversy that erupted this past weekend during one of his streams.
In a video posted to social media on Monday, Larson admitted to using the slur and apologized for it.
“I made a mistake and said a word that should never, never be said, and there’s no excuse for that. I wasn’t raised that way,” he said.

“It’s just an awful thing to say. I feel very sorry for my family, my friends, my partners, the NASCAR community, and especially the African-American community. I understand the damage is probably not repairable, and I own up to that.”
Larson was suspended indefinitely and it remains to be seen what other fallout the 27-year-old will ultimately endure.
