Not only did the 27-year-old get a reprieve from playing alongside Luka Doncic, whom he hated, but he also experienced some success in his personal life as well.
Porzingis is currently dating model Laura Vizla. Recently, the pair went on vacation – and photos of their adventures together immediately went viral.

This is shaping up to be a big year for Porzingis. Once upon a time he was a much-heralded talent, but injuries and attitude concerns have derailed his otherwise promising career.
There is a reason why the Toronto Raptors had the opportunity to acquire him and opted not to. And why Dallas Mavericks players were so happy to have him gone.
When he is at his best, Porzingis is a deeply talented player. But he needs to stay healthy and keep his mind right in order to reach his potential. Which he seems to understand.

If Porzingis can turn things around in D.C., all his early career woes will be forgotten.
But if that doesn’t happen, he may very well go down as one of the most disappointing players of his generation.
