Knicks Cheerleader’s Wild Photos Cause A Stir Amid Heat Series

The New York Knicks are currently locked in a very contentious battle with the Miami Heat.

Heading into the playoffs, neither team was expected to make it to the second round. When both did, their past rivalry raised the stakes of this particular second-round match-up even further.

Miami won Game 1. New York took Game 2. Time will tell where the series goes from here, but it has led to some unexpected stars arising. And not just the players.

Ahead of Game 3, a Knicks cheerleader found herself trending online.

Sophie, a New York dancer, boasts nearly 50,000 followers on social media. For obvious reasons her photos began to go viral ahead of her team’s most recent outing against the Heat.

Big picture, this has been a massive postseason for cheerleaders. A Sacramento Kings dancer also went mega-viral last week over her provocative photos.

Cheerleading aside, though – the Knicks and Heat are very evenly matched. The latter squad has arguably the best overall player in the series in Jimmy Butler. The former boasts a more well-rounded, reliable team.

What will ultimately mean more at this juncture in the season remains to be seen.

Either way, though – having two historical rivals like New York and Miami face off in this year’s playoffs has been a huge treat.

Will the Knicks be able to beat the Heat and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals? Time will tell, but either way the team’s cheerleaders like Sophie will  be rooting them on every step of the way.
