The Arizona Cardinals earned a 42-34 victory over the New Orleans Saints on Thursday night, but it did little to bolster Kliff Kingsbury’s rapidly plummeting stock.
Against an objectively inferior team, Kingsbury needed Andy Dalton to go full Andy Dalton and throw two consecutive pick-sixes in back-to-back drives in order to create any sort of meaningful separation.
Not only did the Cardinals look out of sorts frequently throughout the night, but Kingsbury also had something of an ugly run-in with his quarterback, Kyler Murray:
This isn’t the first time in recent months it has felt like Kingsbury and Murray couldn’t get on the same page.
Kingsbury came into this outing as the betting favorite to be the next head coach fired this season. Nothing that happened on Thursday night should change that.
Fortunately, it’s not all bad news for Kingsbury. His girlfriend, Veronica Bielik, continues to be enjoying herself. While her beau is on the verge of getting the boot from Arizona, she appears to be on some kind of vacation.
Bielik’s wild photos speak for themselves:

This isn’t the first time in recent weeks that Bielik has blown up in this fashion online.
Between her provocative get-away photos with Kingsbury, fun beach day snaps and unexpected confessions about their relationship – Bielik always knows how to leave an impression.
And then in addition to that there are also just her standard Instagram posts:

Kingsbury got a brief reprieve with this win over the Saints, but it’s hard to see the good times lasting for long.
The Cardinals have games on the books against the Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Chargers and New England Patriots over the next month and change.
That’s likely five or six guaranteed losses.
If Arizona heads into their Dec. 18 match-up with an equally bad Denver Broncos squad at 3-10 or 4-9, it’s hard to see how Kingsbury survives.
Obviously anything can happen between now and mid-December. The NFL is that kind of league.
But the writing seems to be on the wall here.

Kingsbury was given the keys to the kingdom this summer with the hope that he could guide a contending team. It seems like he cannot.
It feels like sooner rather than later Kingsbury will find himself with the opportunity to spend a lot more time with Bielik – which isn’t the worst consolation prize in the world.
