Kings Cheerleader’s Wild Photos Go Viral Amid NBA Finals

The Sacramento Kings were eliminated in the first round of the NBA playoffs, but that didn’t stop one of their cheerleader from going viral during this week’s NBA’s Finals.

This past season the Kings made a surprising and memorable run that culminated in head coach Mike Brown winning Coach of the Year honors.

In addition, they pushed last season’s champion Golden State Warriors to seven games in the first round. If not for an untimely De’Aaron Fox injury, they might’ve been the ones to end the Warriors’ dynasty instead of the Los Angeles Lakers.

As a result of how good Sacramento was this past season, all aspects of the franchise fell under increased scrutiny. Even the team owner’s daughter’s racy photos became headline news. One Kings cheerleader in particular, Alexia, really benefited from that.

Over the past few weeks Alexia has amassed a massive following on social media. This week, amid the NBA Finals, a number of her wild photos went viral.

Alexia obviously isn’t the only NBA dancer to break out in this fashion. A Denver Nuggets cheerleader also set the internet ablaze this week with her provocative photos, as did a Miami Heat cheerleader.

It has just been that kind of postseason. And with neither the Nuggets nor the Heat boasting the biggest of fan bases, it really wouldn’t be all that surprising to see these sorts of side plots continue to capture headlines instead of the actual games.

You already sort of see that dynamic unfolding with all the hoopla about Nikola Jokic’s wife’s wild party photos and incessant whispers about his beef with Jimmy Butler.

Big picture, this year’s NBA season was one for the ages. It was filled with excitement and surprises.

Sacramento was a big part of that. And the Kings’ cheerleaders, like Alexia, played a pivotal role in pumping some fresh life into an organization that had been sorely lacking any semblance of enthusiasm for many years.

It is telling that even now, during the NBA Finals, the Kings’ cheerleaders continue to steal the show.
