Kevin Durant Gives Preview Of 2020-21 NBA Season

Kevin Durant will suit up with the Brooklyn Nets for the very first time this season after missing all of last year recovering from a torn Achilles.

This week, he opened up a bit on how he envisioned this season playing out.

“I think Coach is going to use me in a variety of ways, especially as a small-ball 5 and 4 sometimes,” Durant said.

“And bringing the ball up, too, so I’ve just got to be ready for anything.”

Right now, the Nets are testing out a myriad of different scenarios.

“Coach is just going to throw me out there and see how I respond,” Durant said.

“We’ve got champions on this team,” he continued.

Above all else, the goal for 2020-21 is a championship. Nothing less.

“We’ve got guys who have been in playoff runs, been in Game 7s, so it’s always important to have that much experience and knowledge within the group. We’ll see where we go from here.”
