Kawhi Leonard led the Los Angeles Clippers to a much-needed 124-112 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Monday night.

With the Western Conference standings being as close as they are these days, every win matters.

Leonard’s 22 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists ensured that L.A. sits a full game ahead of the Minnesota Timberwolves for fifth place in the West. Moreover, now just half a game separates the Clippers from the fourth place Phoenix Suns.

That being said, Leonard’s slick play isn’t the only reason he found himself going viral this week. His choice of outfit for Monday’s game also left something of an impression.

Leonard being such a drip king wasn’t lost on fans. They immediately took to social media to address his wardrobe decision.

If it feels like Leonard has slowly morphed into something of a style icon, it’s because he definitely has.

His shoe choice to a recent Clippers outing also caused a huge buzz online – albeit that one was a bit more polarized.

Big picture, though, it feels like Leonard and the Clippers are heating up at just the right time.

Obviously as a result of his injury the team got off to a slow start to the year, but with the playoffs rapidly approaching, L.A. looks to be about as legit a squad as any in the West.

Will Leonard be able to lead the Clippers to a championship this season? One way or another, an answer will emerge soon enough.
