When Instagram model Katya Elise Henry and Miami Heat star Tyler Herro first got together earlier this year, many assumed it would just be a quick fling. Months later, the pair continues to prove the haters wrong.
This past week, Henry unveiled a special new shirt showcasing her adoration for Herro.

It has been something of a whirlwind romance over the past few months for Henry and Herro. The pair went vacationing together after the NBA Finals, overcame a bizarre love triangle, and somehow managed to clown Kyle Kuzma without even trying.

Herro came into last season as a mild-mannered rookie looking to make a name for himself on a Heat squad that nobody quite knew what to expect from. The former Kentucky standout left it as a legit contributor to a team that came within two victories of winning the championship.
It will be interesting to see what sort of leap Herro is able to make this season. He had an incredibly impressive rookie showing and will need to build on that in his sophomore campaign.
Last year he averaged 13.5 points on 42.8 percent shooting, 4.1 rebounds and 2 assists per game during the regular season. In the postseason, those totals jumped to 16.4 points on 43.8 percent shooting, 5.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.

Herro’s name has been brought up in potential trades involving James Harden and Victor Oladipo, but thus far nothing has materialized on either front. That doesn’t mean circumstances can’t change, though.

“I do think Tyler Herro as a single trade piece trumps anything the Nets can offer. Now, whether it trumps the Nets throwing every pick and every swap and doing the same thing they did for the Celtics except a better player in his prime, that’s TBD. But Tyler Herro I think is a more valuable trade piece than Caris LeVert and anything else the Nets can offer. He’s not more valuable than Ben Simmons. If and when that discussion happens, if that ever is a thing, I think the Heat are at a disadvantage in that sense.”
For now, it appears Herro is content just seeing where things go and enjoying his life with Henry.
Will the pair still be frolicking in Miami come this time next year? Time will tell.
