The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night to secure the No. 7 seed in the looming NBA Western Conference playoffs.
Despite his team winning, Karl-Anthony Towns had something of a forgettable showing against L.A. After struggling all night on both sides of the floor, he ended up fouling out with more than seven minutes remaining in the fourth quarter and his team down.
As soon as Towns left the game, Minnesota went on an incredible run that culminated in them emerging from the outing victorious.
When it was all said and done, Towns finished the day with 11 points on 3-11 shooting, five rebounds, four turnovers and six fouls.
In the aftermath of the game, Woods could be seen embracing his girlfriend Jordyn Woods – something that made him the topic of much ridicule online:

This isn’t the first time Towns and Woods landed in the headlines together.
Between their extremely provocative showing on Halloween and his very impressive gift for her on Christmas – it seems like the pair is always in the news.
This was just par for the course.
That’s one way to return the Lions to respectability. https://t.co/5GNis0N5nt

Will Towns be able to get it together in the playoffs and help lead the Wolves to their first series victory in a very, very long time?
An answer should emerge in the coming days and weeks.
