Kansas, Kansas State Brawl Over DaJuan Gordon Steal

Kansas and Kansas state brawled over a DaJuan Gordon steal on Tuesday night.

With 10 seconds remaining in the outing, Jayhawks forward Silvio De Sousa attempted to run out the clock.

Before he could do so, Gordon ran over and stole the ball from him as he was attempting to get past half court.

Gordon subsequently tried to take the ball to the rim and lay it up, only to have the shot blocked by De Sousa.

A second later, a fight erupted.

In one of the angles from the brawl, a Kansas player could be seen lifting up a chair – seemingly preparing to use it as a weapon.

Kansas is 15-3 through 18 games and 5-1 in the conference.

With Tuesday’s defeat, the Wildcats are now 8-10 and 1-5 in the conference.

Punishments for all involved in the brawl will likely be announced within the next 24 to 48 hours.
