Justin Verlander is dealing with a right calf injury at the moment, but he still continues to be the AL Cy Young frontrunner by a fairly significant margin.
With an MLB-leading 16 wins and a 1.84 ERA, he has been dominant in 2022 in a way that many thought he was no longer capable of being.
If Verlander’s injury proves to be as short-term as it is currently being presented, it shouldn’t impact him much at all.
Verlander isn’t the only member of his family on a hot streak, though. His wife, Kate Upton, also made a lot of headlines this week.
Upton is an internationally renowned model who routinely sets the internet ablaze with her content. And it was more of the same this week when a pool video of her went viral:

This isn’t the first time in recent months that Upton has blown up in this fashion. Just last month her provocative lingerie photos were a massive hit. Before that, she landed in the news for her wild ‘summer’ pictures and very spicy video clips.
