Justin Verlander Responds To Kate Upton’s Provocative Photos

Houston Astros pitcher Justin Verlander has accomplished a lot over the course of his storied Major League Baseball career.

Eight All-Star appearances, one AL MVP and one World Series championship speak for themselves.

But there is a fair case to be made that Verlander’s greatest achievement of them all was somehow pulling internationally renowned model Kate Upton. The pair began dating in 2014, got engaged in 2016, wed in 2017 and had a daughter together in 2018.

They are a truly special couple.

This week, in light of Sports Illustrated announcing their new cover stars for 2022, Upton posted this provocative photo of herself on Instagram:

Verlander responded immediately:

“😍🔥,” he replied.

You love to see it.

Upton boasts more than 6.2 million followers on Instagram and frequently goes viral for her posts. The content she puts out largely speaks for itself:

In a day and age where pro athletes are constantly swatting off allegations of cheating and various other improprieties, it’s great to see such a happy, healthy and supportive union.

Obviously issues come up – they always do. But Upton and Verlander seem equipped to handle them in a very strong and productive way.

What will this dynamic duo ultimately go viral for next?

Time will tell.
