Joy Behar Getting Fired After Mocking First Gay NFL Player?

‘The View’ host Joy Behar stunned her colleagues this week with a controversial joke about the first gay active NFL player.

On Monday, Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Carl Nassib made headlines when he became the first active player in pro football history to come out.

Although Nassib has received overwhelming support from most circles, Behar decided to take his revelation as the opportunity for a jab.

The video largely speaks for itself:

“After they said ‘penetration in the end zone,’ they lose me,” Behar said.

Social media reacted immediately:

So will Behar face any sort of consequences? It remains to be seen.

She is just the latest TV personality to get entangled in a controversy this week. Over the weekend, one of the most legendary basketball broadcasters of all time got caught up in a racist comment debacle.

All in all – a rough week for all parties involved.
