Jose Canseco’s KO Loss to Barstool’s Billy Football (Video)
Notorious MLB cheat Jose Canseco lost in brutal fashion to Barstool Sports employee Billy Football at ‘Rough N’ Rowdy’ 13 on Friday night.
Canseco, who is 56 years old, promised to make his 22-year-old foe pay heading into the bout. And while both men did an admirable job of hyping up the showdown, the match itself didn’t quite deliver.
Billy Football came out of the gate hot, clearly not particularly impressed by the credentials of his opponent.
About five seconds into the match, it became clear why he wasn’t worried.

After the fact, Barstool Sports boss Dave Portnoy came out and echoed the thoughts of many who had watched this fight at home.
Jose 100% took a dive. We paid half up front and he got double if he won. We thought that would ensure he’d fight. We were wrong.

In response to how poorly Canseco’s effort was received, Barstool Sportsbook decided to take action.

Time will tell if Canseco will get the memes treatment the way Conor McGregor recently did. On one hand, he didn’t buy a gaudy sex watch in the lead-up to this event. On the other, he is arguably the poster boy of steroid abuse in baseball.
Then again, his daughter likes to pose topless a lot — which aligns well with the primary interest of Barstool Sports fans.
Based on how ‘Rough N’ Rowdy’ 13 went, it’s safe to assume Canseco won’t be invited back for any future Barstool events going forward.
