Joe Burrow’s Outfit At Saints Game Causes A Stir (Video)

Joe Burrow’s season has not gone the way he would have hoped thus far in 2022.

Fresh off a Super Bowl bid, Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals were pegged as one of the top squads in the NFL. Unfortunately, they have yet to deliver on those expectations.

Burrow, much like the rest of his offense, has struggled. While his offensive line definitely leaves something to be desired in terms of pass protection, there is also no denying that he holds on to the ball too long in certain cases.

This week, Burrow attempted to regain his mojo ahead of the Bengals’ showdown against the New Orleans Saints.

In an effort to get Cincinnati going, he showed up in this outfit:

The decision to sport Ja’Marr Chase’s college jersey is an interesting one because the talented wide receiver has been in the headlines all week. Just not for anything good.

Troubling leaked text messages involving Chase have been circulating around the web for days. Time will tell what impact that will ultimately have on his headspace going into this game.

So far this year Chase has struggled with all the newfound attention defenses are giving him. That coupled with the aforementioned woes the offensive line and Burrow have been dealing with has led to a far less impressive offensive showing from the Bengals this year.

Nevertheless, fans loved Burrow’s tribute to his receiver:

It will be interesting to see how Cincinnati fares this weekend.

So far in 2022 the team has made far more headlines for what Burrow’s girlfriend has done in the stands than any substantive on-the-field accomplishments.

Will all that change this week?

Time will tell.
