Joe Burrow Confirms Odell Beckham Gave LSU Players Money

Joe Burrow confirmed that Odell Beckham gave LSU players money at the title game this week.

One of the lasting images of the National Championship Game was Beckham, an excited alum, handing wads of cash to LSU players.

Immediately after the fact the university came out and said that the money that Beckham handed out to the Tigers players was not real.

Unfortunately, a recent comment by Burrow appears to contradict that statement.

While appearing on Barstool Sports podcast Pardon My Take recently, Burrow seemed to acknowledge that he had received money from the Cleveland Browns wide receiver.

“I’m not a student-athlete anymore, so I can say yeah,” he replied.

While Burrow is not a student-athlete anymore, LSU can still face some sort of penalty if it is revealed that Beckham gave players cash.

The NCAA does not take things like this lightly, so it remains to be seen how the governing body ultimately chooses to approach this matter.
