Jim Harbaugh Preparing To Leave Michigan For NFL?

Michigan has started the season 2-4 through six games and is rapidly approaching its most disappointing season of the Jim Harbaugh Era.

As a result, speculation has ramped up regarding this possibly being his last year with the program.

“Harbaugh is believed to be eyeing a return to the NFL, as a head coach,” Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported on Sunday.

“Another source said that teams are doing their homework on Harbaugh, who instantly took the 49ers to the NFC Championship.”

According to at least one report, Harbaugh is presently not committing to staying with the Wolverines next year.

If an NFL team ultimately comes along and offers Harbaugh a head coaching gig, it is very difficult to see a scenario where he turns it down.

Should that not happen – then he will likely return to Michigan for one more season.
