Jim Harbaugh Loses Michigan Star To Transfer

Jim Harbaugh lost a Michigan star to transfer this past week.

Former high school star Michael Dwumfour announced on Tuesday that he was planning to transfer out of Ann Arbor.

The defensive tackle entered college with a lot of hype surrounding him but ultimately saw minimal action on the field.

After four years, Dwumfour is now eligible to play a fifth year as a graduate student. He desperately wants to make that final year count.

“My time here at Michigan has come to an end,” he wrote on social media.

“I would like to thank Coach Harbaugh, Coach Browns, Coach Nua, Coach Herb and staff and the athletic training staff for all they’ve done for me.

“With that being said I have entered the transfer portal and will be a grad transfer. God Bless.”

Over the course of his tenure with the Wolverines Dwumfour amassed 33 tackles, 6.5 tackles for a loss, three sacks and a pick.

Dwumfour is expected to pick from Penn State, Temple, West Virginia and Rutgers for his next landing spot.
