Jarvis Landry Calls Out Tom Brady For Not Speaking Out
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry has never been one to shy away from tough issues. He faces them head on and is always willing to have the tough conversation.
This week, Landry called out new Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady for not doing the same.
In a recent message on social media, Landry suggested that Brady should speak out due to his stature.
As of one of the greatest players of all-time and arguably the most high profile NFL star in the league, his voice would obviously make a big difference.
“The league needs your voice right now…We need our Leaders on these calls with the NFL,” Landry tweeted. “Ask you as a fellow athlete, as a brother, as one of the most respected players of All-Time… We Need To Hear You.”
Because Landry did not specify what precisely he wanted Brady to speak out about, it is impossible to know what specifically he is referring to.
Does he want Brady to speak about race relations in America? The Black Lives Matter movement? COVID-19?
Until Landry gets into greater detail what he feels like Brady should be more vocal about, nobody will know for certain what his first message really meant.
