Jarrett Stidham Will Be Patriots Starter In 2020
Jarrett Stidham will likely be the New England Patriots starter at quarterback in 2020.
Last week, Tom Brady officially signed a multi-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As his time with the Patriots came to an end, the obvious question on everyone’s mind became: who will replace him?
According to NFL analyst Daniel Jeremiah, the answer is Stidham.
“I do, I think [Stidham]’s going to be their starter,” he said.
“I haven’t talked to anyone directly with the Patriots, but with talking to buddies around the league that have close ties in that building, they said there’s a lot of confidence inside that organization that Jarrett Stidham is going to be as good, or better, than Jimmy Garoppolo. So, they’re high on him and what he can do.”
If Stidham can perform above expectations, the Patriots will likely once again be the favorites to walk away with the AFC East crown.
