Jadeveon Clowney Signing With Titans Or Colts?

Is Jadeveon Clowney signing with the Titans or Colts? All signs are increasingly pointing in that direction.

Clowney is an unrestricted free agent this offseason. The Seattle Seahawks, who acquired him from the Houston Texans last year, have consistently maintained that they will not use the franchise tag on him.

That seems like a recipe for Clowney to end up elsewhere.

According to ESPN NFL insiders Dan Graziano and Jeremy Fowler, Seattle is still very interested in retaining Clowney, despite the fact that his contributions to the defense were somewhat minimal all things considered.

However, if his price tag is ultimately too high, the Seahawks will likely bow out.

Should that happen, Tennessee and Indianapolis figure to be the two teams that will make the most serious bids for Clowney’s services.

The Titans and Colts are coming off two very different campaigns.

Tennessee made it all the way to the AFC Championship Game before ultimately bowing out to the eventual champion Kansas City Chiefs.

Indianapolis, meanwhile, had something of a disappointing year after quarterback Andrew Luck’s abrupt retirement. Jacoby Brissett did the best he could, but obviously he had very big shoes to fill. Needless to say, the Colts did not make the playoffs.

Will Clowney ultimately end up with either the Colts or Titans? We should get our answer one way or another come next month.
