Ian Book Reveals He Is Done At Notre Dame

Ian Book reveals he is done at Notre Dame in a new interview.

On Saturday the Fighting Irish earned a solid 40-7 victory over Boston College.

With a win over Stanford next week Notre Dame may just lock up a NY6 Bowl game selection.

This has been something of an up and down season for the program, with impressive victories like the Boston College one been hampered by absolute duds against the likes of Georgia and Michigan.

After the Boston College game, Book was asked if he would return to Notre Dame.

His response: “We’ll see.”

Translation: Cya.

Over the course of the past 11 games Book has thrown for 2,532 yards, 29 touchdowns and six interceptions.

While he is certainly not one of the handful of best quarterbacks that would be available in the 2020 NFL Draft, he is solid enough to warrant a glance from pro teams.

Between that opportunity and how little there is for him to gain by staying in South Bend, him leaving town makes all the sense in the world.
