Freeze, 49, arrived to the stadium in a wheelchair and then transitioned to a full on hospital bed in the coach’s box.

The Liberty head football coach was hospitalized with a staph infection earlier this month and still has not fully recovered from it.
Despite Freeze’s dedication, Liberty lost the game 24-0.
After the game, Freeze hosted a press conference that was about what you would expect it to be.
Liberty head coach Hugh Freeze with a different style of press conference tonight. He coached from a hospital bed in a coaches booth due to a back injury which he says he’ll have more of an update on in a few days.
