How Much Did Nets’ James Harden Really Pay To Date Saweetie?

It began with a seemingly perplexed 50 Cent re-sharing a story on Instagram that got him all hot and bothered.

Immediately, the story began spreading like wildfire.

Eventually, it got to the point where Harden himself needed to respond.

“I’m tired of people creating these false a** stories knowing I really don’t speak on the bull****,” he wrote on social media.

“Leave me out of all the weird s***. S*** trash. Back to my real life. People really on here just making s*** up for clout. I really stay out the way. CashApp 100K? Beat it.”

Given Kevin Durant’s propensity for creeping on females online, and taking into account how close he and Harden are, it’s not hard to see why folks would assume the story is true.

So if Harden maintains that he didn’t send a “$100,000 Cash App gift” to Saweetie, then what’s the real number? How much did he send her?

Or is the Nets star insisting that he didn’t send her any money at all?

Either way, the truth will eventually come out.

It has been a crazy year for Harden. Between getting destroyed by DeMarcus Cousins, being accused of not playing hard, and watching his role with Brooklyn diminish significantly from what it was with the Houston Rockets, it has just been one headache after another for the 31-year-old.

Currently, the Nets are up 2-1 in their second-round playoff series versus the Milwaukee Bucks. If they go on to win a title, all these little side stories will immediately be forgotten.

If they don’t, however – expect the drama surrounding this group to be even louder next year.
