How did Colin Kaepernick spend Super Bowl 54?

While the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers were duking it out on the field, Kaepernick was doing something special off it.

According to TMZ, Kaepernick spent Super Bowl 54 at a homeless shelter helping underprivileged people.

Multiple photographs taken at the event show Kaepernick feeding the needy and just offering a stabilizing presence during his time there.

Kaepernick reportedly went to New York City this past week, making his first stop at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in Harlem.

From there, he traveled to the SCO Family Shelter in Jamaica, Queens.

Kaepernick and Carolina Panthers star Eric Reid teamed up with 100 Suits For 100 Men to provide clothing for individuals in need who are looking for employment.

After that, Kaepernick helped the LES Girls Club and Know Your Rights organization serve food to the needy.

Kaepernick’s former team, the 49ers, ended up losing the Super Bowl on Sunday 31-20 to Kansas City.

The former San Francisco quarterback has been out of the NFL since 2016, when he began kneeling for the National Anthem in protest of racial injustice in America.
