How Cardinals Coach Kliff Kingsbury's GF Prepared For Raiders

Kliff Kingsbury’s Arizona Cardinals didn’t look great in their opening week showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Letting Patrick Mahomes explode for five touchdowns, 360 yards and no picks is never ideal, but it was the way the Cardinals allowed it to happen that was particularly startling. The defense was a mess through and through – and it’s hard to see how Kingsbury can change the obvious personnel issues that exist.

This week, the Cardinal are squaring off against a Las Vegas Raiders squad with a decent amount of problems of their own. One person who won’t be in attendance, though? Kingsbury’s girlfriend, Veronica Bielik.

Although Bielik is undoubtedly with Kingsbury in spirit on Sunday, her preparation for the Raiders involved a scenic trip to Santorini, Greece.

The imagery from it speaks for itself:

That is quite the view.

This isn’t the first time in recent weeks Bielik has blown up online in this fashion. Her particular way of dealing with losses and wild vacation pictures never fail to leave an impression.

Beyond that, there are also just her general Instagram offerings. They also never disappoint:

Big picture, Kingsbury got paid big this summer. His new deal will keep him in Arizona through 2027. That comes with certain expectations.

It’s great that he has shown continued growth throughout his stint with the Cardinals, but that goodwill will only last so long. He needs to get back on track this season, and he needs to ensure that his squad doesn’t collapse in the second half of the year the way it did in 2021-22.

To date, Kingsbury has been in the headlines more for Bielik-related reasons than any substantive and meaningful football accomplishments.

Arizona has to take a step forward this year. And it starts with beating the Raiders in Week 2.

Will they be able to get it done? An answer should emerge over the next few hours.
