Hornets, Grizzlies Reporters Go Viral At NBA Game (Photos)

The Charlotte Hornets and Memphis Grizzlies are two of the most promising young teams in the NBA today.

Between LaMelo Ball and Ja Morant, both squads have a level of young talent that few others around the league can match. Barring something crazy happening, Charlotte and Memphis have a lot to be excited about for the foreseeable future.

The Hornets’ and Grizzlies’ talent isn’t just limited to players, though. There are also some very promising reporters covering both teams. And it just so happened that two in particular went viral this week.

It all started with a simple tweet:

From there, the reactions to those two messages came in like a tidal wave.

For reference, the woman on the right is the Grizzlies reporter. She has nearly 75,000 followers on Instagram and routinely blows up online for posts like this:

The woman on the left is Ashley ShahAhmadi and has more than 50,000 followers on Instagram. She regularly sets the internet ablaze with her own unique brand of posting:

While the Grizzlies ultimately ended up dominating the Hornets on Friday night, fans nevertheless got to see a great show both on and off the court.

Obviously Charlotte has experienced some controversy in recent weeks. Memphis too has found itself in the headlines for some off-the-court stuff. That’s just the nature of how things work in this day age.

But big picture – the Hornets and Grizzlies are looking strong going forward.

Will either team ultimately be able to win a championship in the foreseeable future?
