Hawks Unveil Brand New ‘MLK’ Uniforms For 2020-21

The Atlanta Hawks unveiled brand new Martin Luther King-themed uniforms on Sunday. These particular jerseys are part of the organization’s “City Edition” collection, and all proceeds will go to support economic empowerment programs for Atlanta’s communities of color.

Fans weighed in on the new look immediately.

The NBA and Nike rolled out “City Edition” jerseys back in 2017, and they have been an immensely successful merchandising opportunity ever since.

Obviously the Miami Heat’s ViceWave jerseys remain the best of the best when it comes to City Edition gear, but these MLK uniforms may end up doing big things as well.
