Grayson Allen is one of the NBA’s more intriguing players. No stranger to controversy, he often finds himself in the headlines for acts that could generously be described as unsavory.
That said – Allen is also objectively more talented than people give him credit for. Many thought he’d become just the latest underwhelming Duke player to hit the league. Instead, he is a vital piece of the Milwaukee Bucks’ championship puzzle.
Currently Allen is averaging a career-high 11.5 points and 3.4 rebounds per game while playing 28 minutes per outing.
Allen isn’t just winning on the court, though. This week, he also became engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Morgan Reid.

Big picture, Allen obviously has a reputation for being dirty. It exists for a reason.
Hopefully as the years progress and he continues to mature and grow as a person and player, Allen will find the balance between playing hard and playing unfairly.

It’s a delicate line, but if other NBA players are able to straddle it – Allen should be able to as well.
