The Milwaukee Bucks beat the Phoenix Suns 123-119 on Saturday night. With the win, they are now up 3-2 in their best-of-seven NBA Finals series.
Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 32 points, nine rebounds and six assists.
After his big win, Antetokounmpo attempted to go fulfill his media obligations.
Unfortunately, he just couldn’t do it.
He initially sat down in the interview room about 20 minutes ago then quickly got up and left before any questions were asked.

Some time later, Antetokounmpo returned.

Antetokounmpo’s abrupt exit from the postgame interviews led to some speculation that perhaps something more serious than cramps was bothering him. After all, his brother Thanasis was ruled out for Game 5 because of COVID-19 protocols and he did miss multiple rounds of the Eastern Conference Finals with a hyperextended left knee.
Fortunately, it appears as though Antetokounmpo is fine and cramps really were to blame.
Giannis Antetokounmpo when asked about cramps that delayed his presser:
“I was a little bit dehydrated. I’m a softie, yknow. But it’s okay.”
Then says he’ll definitely be getting a burger and fries afterwards. Stay you, Giannis.

Although Chris Paul found a way to take a pretty savage shot at him after the game, Antetokounmpo had an otherwise flawless evening. Now his team is one victory away from winning its first championship in three decades.
Is the NBA title coming home to Milwaukee next week? Time will tell.
