Giannis Antetokounmpo Injury Questions Spark Worry Ahead Of Game 6

The Milwaukee Bucks beat the Phoenix Suns 123-119 on Saturday night. With the win, they are now up 3-2 in their best-of-seven NBA Finals series.

Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 32 points, nine rebounds and six assists.

After his big win, Antetokounmpo attempted to go fulfill his media obligations.

Unfortunately, he just couldn’t do it.

Some time later, Antetokounmpo returned.

Antetokounmpo’s abrupt exit from the postgame interviews led to some speculation that perhaps something more serious than cramps was bothering him. After all, his brother Thanasis was ruled out for Game 5 because of COVID-19 protocols and he did miss multiple rounds of the Eastern Conference Finals with a hyperextended left knee.

Fortunately, it appears as though Antetokounmpo is fine and cramps really were to blame.

Although Chris Paul found a way to take a pretty savage shot at him after the game, Antetokounmpo had an otherwise flawless evening. Now his team is one victory away from winning its first championship in three decades.

Is the NBA title coming home to Milwaukee next week? Time will tell.
