Georgia Will Disappoint In 2020, Says Expert

Georgia will disappoint in 2020, says at least one college football expert.

Pete Fiutak of College Football News recently compiled a list of programs that believes could “potentially disappoint” this coming season.

The SEC’s representative? Georgia.

Despite the Bulldogs winning three consecutive SEC East championships, Fiutak says that he believes the team may go 8-4.

Why? Primarily a tough schedule.

“Georgia is going to keep coming into seasons as one of the five or six teams with a realistic shot at winning the national title,” he said.

“However, have a misfire like last year’s loss to South Carolina, finally be on the wrong end of the Florida showdown, lose to Alabama, or even have another season like the last two with an 11-1 regular season and a loss in the SEC Championship, and the CFP dreams are gone with two losses.”

On the agenda for Georgia are showdowns against Alabama in Tuscaloosa three weeks in, as well as closing out the year versus Florida, South Carolina and Kentucky.
