Is Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor 2 officially set?

That is the impression Mayweather gave on Saturday night when he published a fight poster for the event on Instagram.

Mayweather and McGregor previously met for a boxing match in August of 2017. Mayweather ultimately emerged victorious via 10th round TKO, with McGregor putting up a solid showing in what was the first pro boxing match of his career.

The bout reportedly earned more than 4.3 million pay-per-view buys, making both fighters a lot of money in the process.

There has been a lot of talk and hype about a potential rematch, but nothing concrete had been announced.

That all changed on Saturday night, shortly after McGregor earned a 40-second first round victory over Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone at UFC 246.

According to UFC president Dana White, Mayweather spent the entire evening of UFC 246 hitting him up about a potential rematch against McGregor.

Will one actually end up happening? Time will tell.
