Florida’s Feleipe Franks Transferring To Arkansas?
Is Florida’s Feleipe Franks transferring to Arkansas?
The Former Gators starting quarterback is looking for a new situation after a season-ending injury cost him a large portion of his 2019 campaign.
Prior to going down, Franks recorded five scores and three picks on 76 percent passing. One year earlier, he recorded 2,457 yards, 24 scores and six picks on 58 percent passing.
In a recent report, 247Sports suggested that Franks was seriously considering joining up with the Razorbacks.
The Kansas Jayhawks are also reportedly in contention for his services, but Sam Pittman’s program appears to have the inside track.
Pittman has repeatedly stated that his team has room to make another big addition this summer.
“We certainly have to leave some scholarships available for transfers or grad transfers,” he said.
“Right now it doesn’t seem to be too big of a problem, you know? We will fix that when it comes. But, we obviously are in the transfer market at different positions.”
A final decision from Franks is expected at some point in the next few weeks.
