Fans Turn On Tyler Herro After Heat’s Game 6 Collapse

Tyler Herro emerged as one of the Miami Heat’s biggest young stars over the course of the playoffs. With his timely buckets and Stephen Curry-like stroke, he was probably the team’s second or third most talked about player for a period of time.

His girlfriend being one of the most recognizable Instagram models in the game did not hurt, even if she did have some interesting history with Los Angeles Lakers star Kyle Kuzma.

Unfortunately, much like the rest of his teammates, Herro disappointed in Game 6 of the Finals. He could never really find his shot offensively, and he very much struggled to make any difference whatsoever on the other side of the floor.

One play that really encapsulated the rough run that Herro found himself on in what would end up being his last game of the season was this airball:

Fans were not shy about expressing their displeasure.

All that being said, it’s worth remembering that Herro is still only 20 years old and finishing up his rookie year.

In the regular season he averaged 13.5 points on 42.8 percent shooting, 4.1 rebounds and 2 assists per game.

During the playoffs, those numbers turned into 16.4 points on 43.8 percent shooting, 5.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists.

Herro may not have shined in the Finals the way fans were hoping for, but he will likely be a solid player in the league for years to come.
