Fans Notice Something About Jamal Adams’ Celebratory Cigar (Photo)

The Seattle Seahawks clinched the NFC West title on Sunday with a victory over the Los Angeles Rams. After the game, a very happy Jamal Adams stepped up to the podium and lit up a celebratory cigar.

That is when fans noticed something about it.

So did Adams light up the wrong end of a cigar? If it is perfecto or presidente-shaped, which means it is twisted off at one end, then the answer is no. If Adams had actually lit up the wrong end of the cigar, it would have been impossible to take a deep draw from that without choking up a lung.

Cigar drama notwithstanding, Adams is absolutely loving life in Seattle.

“I don’t want to be too happy because I don’t want people to say he’s dramatic or he hasn’t been here before,” he said. “[But] you’re damn right I haven’t been here before, so, damn it, it feels good! It feels great!”

Adams also firmly believes that the Seahawks’ defense is the best in the entire NFL.

“For everybody out there, they need to start putting respect on this defense’s name,” he said.

“Because this defense is playing lights out. And to me, we’re the best defense in the league. You can quote that. You can do what you want to do with it.”
