ESPN Makes Surprising Prediction For Alabama vs LSU

ESPN makes a surprising prediction for Alabama vs LSU.

This weekend the two top college football programs in the nation will face off when No. 1 ranked LSU takes on No. 2 ranked Alabama.

Despite the fact that they are ranked second in the country, Alabama is a decent-sized favorite coming into the outing.

The odds makers in Vegas are not the only ones saying that Nick Saban’s group has the edge, though.

According to ESPN’s algorithms, Alabama has a 71.9 percent chance of beating LSU for SEC supremacy.

Alabama has the second-best scoring offense in the country, while LSU boasts the fourth best. Their starting quarterbacks, Tua Tagovailoa and Joe Burrow, have both been mentioned as potential Heisman Trophy winners this year.

Where the two teams diverge, though, is in the level of competition faced up to this point.

Whereas Alabama has recorded only a single victory over a top-25 team, LSU has defeated three schools that were ranked in the top-10.

Despite that, Alabama is still the favorite.

Will odds makers and ESPN be vindicated for their undying confidence in Alabama?

We will find out this Saturday, during the biggest college football game of the year so far.
