Eagles Star Ruled Out Of Cowboys Game Due To Injury
An Eagles star was ruled out of the Cowboys game due to injury.
On Friday, officials ruled Pro Bowl right* tackle Lane Johnson officially out for Sunday’s looming game with Dallas.
The move is not a total surprise, as Johnson missed the majority of Week 14’s snaps and was not present in the team’s outing versus the Washington Redskins.
Johnson, who has put together a very impressive career, has had trouble staying on the field over the last few years. This will mark the fourth time in as many years that he will not play an entire 16-game slate.

The Eagles signed him to a six year, $63 million contract extension back in 2016.
This weekend’s game with the Cowboys is a make-or-break affair for Philadelphia.
A defeat would knock the Eagles out of the playoff hunt for good. With a win, however, they would control their own destiny heading into their Week 17 battle with the New York Giants.
Philly started the year off really slowly, but has picked up some steam in the last few weeks. Is it too little, too late? We’ll find out for certain come this weekend.
