Dwyane Wade’s new tattoo was the subject of much debate on Twitter this weekend.

On Friday, in honor of the anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington led by Martin Luther King Jr., Wade unveiled special new ink.

“57 years ago to the date Martin Luther King Jr stood before a quarter of a million people from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and spoke the words ‘I have a dream,’” the former Miami Heat star wrote on Instagram.

While everyone appreciated where Wade’s heart was when he decided to get this piece of art done, the quality of it simply could not be ignored.

Needless to say, Wade can probably mark this particular tattoo as an L in the record books.

Fortunately, he is still a top five all-time shooting guard, has accumulated wealth that will last multiple generations, plus has a nice family and the respect of his peers, so he will probably take it all in stride and move on.
