Dwight Howard’s intimate text messages to a man who claims he was pressuring him to do something he didn’t want to do leaked out this week.

As a longtime NBA legend and future Hall of Famer, Howard is obviously no stranger to the spotlight.

He often invites it.

That said – this probably isn’t what Howard was hoping to be trending for.

According to Radar Online, has been accused of forcing a man he met on social media to have an intimae encounter with him.

The man in question, Stephen Harper, is apparently claiming that assault and battery occurred.

“From May of 2021 through July of 2021, Mr. Harper and [Howard] continued to exchange text messages, several of which included sexually explicit content, such as photographs and videos,” the lawsuit notes.

Where things went awry, it would appear, is with a threesome that Harper seemingly didn’t want to be a part of.

“Mr. Harper was in fear of imminent bodily harm when he was pinned down and forced to remain in place while Defendant continued to sexually assault him,” the lawsuit notes.

It’s worth remembering, this isn’t the first time Howard has found himself in legal trouble over something like this.

The matter of the disturbing things Howard’s 14-year-old son was accused of not long ago also lingers.

Thus far, Howard hasn’t issued a public statement on this matter.

Time will tell if that changes at any point in the foreseeable future.

Howard was recently linked to a potential NBA return, but it now seems unlikely that it will ever actually come to fruition.

His pro hoops career, in the U.S. at least, seems done.

Will Howard ultimately address this lawsuit and lend some clarity to what precisely transpired here? An answer one way or the other will emerge soon enough.
