Duke Fans Accuse North Carolina Of Cheating
Duke fans accused North Carolina of cheating following the team’s big 89-76 blowout victory on Saturday afternoon.
In a clip that has since gone viral, Tar Heels star Cole Anthony can be seen seemingly extending his leg as Duke’s Tre Jones drives towards the basket.
Although Jones ultimately avoids getting tripped up, the sequence did not go unnoticed by eagle-eyed viewers at home.

“What’s Anthony trying to do here?” questioned one fan.
“If his name was Grayson and he wore a better of blue they’d bet alking about what a dirty player he was all week on SportsCenter,” said another.

That particularly play notwithstanding, it is an interesting way to sort of put a bow on what will likely be Anthony’s first and last regular season at North Carolina.

The freshman ultimately averaged 19.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists per outing, which is obviously very solid. However, his year was also marred by injuries and the Tar Heels being the worst they’ve been in a decade.
