Dolphins Issue Surprising DeVante Parker Health Update

The Dolphins issued a surprising DeVante Parker health update on Saturday.

Parker, 26, is one day removed from signing a four-year deal worth as much as $40 million with Miami.

The fifth year wide receiver entered this week dealing with a concussion suffered during last week’s outing against the New York Jets.

Fortunately, both he and the Dolphins just got some good news on that front.

According to Joe Schad, Parker has cleared concussion protocol.

“Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker and WR Albert Wilson are no longer in the concussion protocol and have been removed from the game status report for tomorrow’s game,” he tweeted out.

That is no doubt great news for the Dolphins, as they badly need all the help they can get.

Thus far this season Parker has recorded 882 yards and six touchdowns on 55 receptions.

The former Louisville star will have the opportunity to add to those totals on Sunday when his Dolphins take on the Eli Manning-led New York Giants.
