Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson is facing an increasingly worsening set of accusations.
At the beginning of last week, a single massage therapist came out and accused Watson of sexually assaulting her.
Several days later, another women emerged. And then another. In total, 11 lawsuits have been filed against Watson – with more reportedly on the way.
On Monday, legal paperwork was filed detailing explicitly what precisely Watson is accused of.
In one part, the paperwork details an especially horrific exchange between Watson and the woman involved.
“Watson asked for his chest to be massaged and Plaintiff did so,” it notes. “To Plaintiff’s shock, Watson groped her buttocks and vagina and then pushed her buttocks into his face. Plaintiff slapped Watson and asked him what he was doing, Watson stated ‘I thought you liked that.’”
Watson’s girlfriend Jilly Anais, who is normally very vocal on social media, has been oddly quiet about this developing situation.
Last week, the NFL announced that this matter was “under review” and the Texans similarly said they’d be working closely with the league to monitor it.
While everyone deserves their day in court, including Watson, it’s difficult to ignore the pattern that seems to be occurring throughout all these accusations.
One way or another, the truth will emerge. And when it does, hopefully the wronged parties involved get the justice they deserve.
Now that Paige VanZant is done with the UFC, she can focus on the important things. https://t.co/5YLwWtLaGf
