DeMarcus Cousins Getting Suspended Over Devin Booker Fight?

DeMarcus Cousins Getting Suspended Over Devin Booker Fight?

The Phoenix Suns defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 104-103 on Tuesday. In doing so, they took a commanding 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven conference finals match-up.

Down 103-102 with less than a second remaining in the outing, Phoenix drew up a picture perfect inbounds play to throw a pass from Jae Crowder to Deandre Ayton for a game-winning alley-oop.

After the fact, an understandably frustrated DeMarcus Cousins let his emotions get the best of him.

Video from the altercation between him and Devin Booker speaks for itself:

For what it’s worth, this is what led up to Cousins’ fiery response:

Immediately after the fact, folks began calling for Cousins to be suspended.

So will Cousins ultimately be suspended? The NBA has yet to make an official announcement.

That said, seeing as Chris Paul walked away unpunished for this extremely dirty play and we literally saw one NBA player break another’s wrist with no consequences, it’s safe to assume the league will probably let it slide.
