Dejounte Murray has quietly emerged as the most coveted star available ahead of this year’s NBA Trade Deadline.
Multiple teams have expressed interest in adding him over the past few weeks.
That said, on Friday, a dark horse squad jumped onto the scene as a potential candidate for Murray’s services.

That being said, it is unclear what Milwaukee would be able to bring to the table as far as assets go. They emptied the cupboard to acquire Damian Lillard in the offseason, after all.
And it isn’t like the Hawks’ asking price for Murray is some sort of big secret.
“From people I’ve spoken with, the Hawks are asking for two firsts in return for Murray, who would prefer to join a team with a chance to make an immediate playoff run,” Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer wrote recently. “So far, no one has met their demands.”
It is worth taking a look at the Los Angeles Lakers’ most recent offer for Murray’s services and comparing it to anything Milwaukee can bring to the table.
Ditto for the Golden State Warriors’ best Murray offer.

It really feels like there is no way that the Bucks can legitimately compete with some of the packages that other organizations can offer.
That being said, Milwaukee has proven itself quite adept at accomplishing the impossible in recent years.
Will the Bucks find a way to secure Murray’s services despite everyone doubting them? Time will tell.
