Dallas Mavericks’ Luka Doncic Making 1 Big Change

Luka Doncic is the closest thing the NBA has ever had to LeBron James. He came into the league with a ton of hype, and despite being extremely young, has more than lived up to it.

That being said – one persistent issue has consistently haunted Doncic throughout his short career.

Fortunately, the Dallas Mavericks star has heard the criticism and is ready to make a change.

During a recent appearance on JJ Redick’s “The Old Man and the Three” podcast, Doncic got brutally honest.

Apparently Doncic is done yelling at referees over what he perceives to be as bad calls.

“I had a little talk with myself,” said Doncic.

“It was unacceptable, the way I was acting … I had a talk with myself and I just said, ‘This can’t keep going.’ It’s a really bad look. I knew I was doing this, but I kept going. It’s over. I had to tell myself: ‘No more, man.’”

This has been an ongoing problem for Doncic. So much so, in fact, that even his head coach Jason Kidd has called him out for it.

So it’s good that a change is being made.

Of course, it’s easier said than done to stop being a crybaby.

Will Doncic actually do what he says he’s going to?

Time will tell.
