Cowboys Star Reacts To Mike McCarthy Hire
A Cowboys star reacted to the Mike McCarthy hire in unexpected fashion.
While Dallas opting to bring McCarthy on board did not wow the national media, the players seem pretty satisfied with Jerry Jones’ decision.
Shortly after the hire was announced, Cowboys cornerback Donovan Olumba wasted no time taking to social media and make his opinion heard.

“Too excited to play for Coach McCarthy,” he tweeted.
The excitement is understandable.
McCarthy has made four appearances in the NFC Championship Game and has a Super Bowl to his name. Under his watch, the Green Bay Packers absolutely owned the NFC North.
While a lot has been said about his issues with Aaron Rodgers, it is worth noting that context is key.
Rodgers did have beef with McCarthy’s philosophies – but he also did not agree with his new head coach, Mike LaFleur.
Before LaFleur even had a chance to start, Rodgers bickered with him over the media regarding the best way to run Green Bay’s offense.
McCarthy certainly deserves some share of the blame for what transpired with Rodgers, but not all of it. And that is probably why Cowboys players like Olumba are excited to play for him.
With McCarthy at the helm, the Cowboys seem to be a lock to secure a playoff berth next season.
