Conor McGregor Begs Khabib Nurmagomedov For Rematch
Conor McGregor begs Khabib Nurmagomedov for a rematch in a new social media post, but his wish is unlikely to be granted.
McGregor, 31, made the plea following Nurmagomedov’s dominant showing versus Dustin Poirier at UFC 242.
Immediately after Nurmagomedov forced his challenger to tap en route to his latest successful title defense, McGregor fired off this tweet: “Book my rematch for Moscow.”

McGregor of course famously lost to Nurmagomedov in the pair’s title fight last year.
Rumors have been running rampant ever since then that a rematch was inevitable – but so far nothing has come to fruition.

For what it is worth, Nurmagomedov seems to have very little interest in the bout.
That being said, Dana White says that there is a chance we will see the pair square off again.
“Tony Ferguson gets the next shot and obviously if for whatever reason Tony can’t take the fight or doesn’t want the fight at that time then we would figure out what was next but Conor would make a lot of sense,” White said after UFC 242.
“Conor McGregor wants that fight really badly and I’m sure the fans would want to see it. So we’ll see how this whole thing plays out.”
Will McGregor get his rematch?
Time will tell.
